Can Anyone See What I Upload to Dropbox

You can practice this by setting up an SSH / SCP / SFTP Server, setting the umask for new files and then that the files that are uploaded tin't be read by the grouping of users logging in, but so that they exercise have write access to the directory.

IE rwxrwxrwx should be rwx-westward—— admin:uploadergrp then when they can ship the files without being able to look at them.

I don't think that necessarily answers your question; simply it does give y'all some idea of how this might be handled in an ACL.

Although what I am virtually to say is not an answer to your question, but a piece of work-effectually. Yous tin can utilise a 3rd-political party tool such equally SynaMan, which will permit something like this. SynaMan has a concept of Public links, which are URLs that can exist password protected and take expiration dates. Employees can use these Public Links to upload files and that is all they volition be able to exercise.

I'm certain you can do this with permissions or you tin use the built-in file asking characteristic of OneDrive.

An AWS S3 saucepan with write-only permissions will too do the play a trick on.  You can also write some software that will accept a user upload a file and store it on a server, where the user(s) tin can't admission it.

Skilful luck!

I think Davids@amvocahs come up up with a really proficient solution!

A less elegant solution would exist to get to Library Settings > Avant-garde Settings and change item-level permissions so that users can ONLY see what THEY created.

This doesn't end them from seeing items they've uploaded merely they wouldn't be able to see any others, just Users with Full Control would be able to run into everything.

I was looking at the permission levels, and didn't see i to fit the beak. I and then looked at making a custom permission level, it seems like if I checked "Add together Items" merely, that might work? I'll examination it and find out. Thank you for your response.

I've fix this up several times. Create a windows file share. Create a binder for each section managing director inside that folder. Remove all NTFS permissions for those folders accept administrator/system permissions. Set the employee to be able to write to their folder, but only their folder. Person goes into folder, can only open the folder with their name, can merely view what is in the folder with their proper noun.

Alternatively you can set one binder, remove all merely administrator/system NTFS permissions. Set "write" permission simply remove all other permissions in the avant-garde settings on the security tab>Edit . And then create a permission for "Creator Owner " that allows for view and edit. This makes it so people can merely run across or edit files in the folder they have created.

You could as well setup a shared mail-box that a user would send email to with attachment (internal only), utilise power automate to access that mailbox and extract the zipper(s) and upload it to a sharepoint location.

Hither is the template: https://menses.microsoft.com/en-united states of america/galleries/public/templates/f7a46809e53c42108034e56acf83bb79/save-my...

I've used it for collecting faxes.  Faxes received get ship to share mailbox, mailbox gets emails checked for attachments and all attachments get uploaded to sharepoint site > Folder.
